J. ANTONIO “TONY” TRAMONTANA is a practicing trial lawyer in the city of Monroe, LA, specializing in plaintiff’s medical malpractice cases since 1992. He has represented thousands of injured individuals across Louisiana who have been involved in personal injury and medical malpractice lawsuits, including physician errors, hospital negligence, nursing home negligence, birth injury cases, medical products, and wrongful death cases. He has been a speaker at the Louisiana Judicial College Evidence and Procedure Seminar, and with the Louisiana Association of Justice.
He is a member of both the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the Louisiana Association of Justice (LAJ), and a member of the Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Negligence sections of these organizations. As a part of the LAJ Medical Malpractice Section, he has served as a member of numerous committees and has testified before the Louisiana state legislature concerning medical negligence law. Tony is nationally Board Certified in Medical Malpractice Law by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys (ABPLA). He received his J.D. in 1991 from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.
